VJC Scholarship
The VJC Scholarship is awarded to Victorians who have achieved outstanding academic results and have shown excellence within and beyond the classroom by displaying motivation, leadership, emotional maturity, resilience, and sound interpersonal qualities.
VJC scholars exemplify college values through their:
Ability to excel in different domains and to demonstrate excellence with integrity.
Strong leadership qualities and being a good role model and influence on his/her peers.
Courage, conviction and compassion in his/her contributions to college and community.
The following are scholarships offered by MOE and other agencies that Victorians have attained.
Engineering and Tech Programme Scholarship (ETPS)
VJC offers strong support for the ETPS as part of our STEM programme. ETPS applicants will have access to training and workshops to prepare you for the interviews and selection. You will be well supported in your STEM journey as you pursue your passion in mathematics and the sciences. For more information on the ETPS application, click here.
Humanities Scholarship Programme (HSP)
VJC is one of the centres for the MOE Humanities Scholarship & Programme (HSP). The HSP offers scholars with the opportunity to immerse themselves in various disciplines which study aspects of human society and culture. More details on the HSP scholarship can be found here.
Language Elective Scholarship (LES)
This scholarship is awarded in Pre-University 1 to students admitted to the French/German/Japanese/Spanish Language Elective Programme (LEP). Application details can be found here.
Ministry of Education Pre-University Scholarship
This scholarship is offered to top Pre-University 1 students who have achieved outstanding academic results and excelled in co-curricular and other activities. VJC offers support for the application and interview phases of the MOE Pre U Scholarship application. More details here.
Regional Studies Programme (RSP)
The Regional Studies Programme (RSP) Scholarship is offered by Ministry of Education to encourage academically able and linguistically talented students to pursue H2 History, covering the developments in South East Asia under the Regional Studies Programme. VJC is one of three junior colleges offering the RSP. More info here!
A*STAR Science Award (JC)
The A*STAR Science Award (Junior College) is given out to Singaporean Junior College students who have obtained outstanding academic performance in Science and Mathematics subjects who have an interest in research. It aims to spur the passion of Science among these bright students through a monetary award, research attachments and other activities including interactions with A*STAR scientists and other eminent scientists, so that they may nurture their potential in this area.
