Students at VJC heard from disability rights advocate Ms Chia Yong Yong on Singapore's social compact and its path to a more inclusive society.
On behalf of the Ministry of Social & Family Development (MSF), former two-term Nominated Member of Parliament and member of the Enabling Masterplan Steering Committee, Ms Chia Yong Yong, engaged VJC students for a GP talk on 6 August. Students benefitted from engaging Ms Chia, an active champion for independent living and disability rights, in a dialogue on Singapore’s social compact and our journey towards becoming a more inclusive society.
